Swiss Center for Care@home

The Swiss Center for Care@home (SCC), launched at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), develops hospital-equivalent home care models to improve patient-centered healthcare while reducing costs. Supported by the Canton of Bern and over 60 key partners, including the Switzerland Innovation Park Biel-Bienne (SIPBB), SCC fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and digital innovation to create sustainable, scalable healthcare solutions.

Sitem-Insel 

Sitem-Insel fosters innovation in medicine to position the Canton of Bern as a top medical hub by 2030. This partnership provides direct access to the right hospitals and departments for clinical studies. 

Sitem Medtech Club 

Partnering with Sitem MedTech Club offers our startups access to expert advice, investment opportunities, and low-cost workspace to foster growth in MedTech. 

Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH)

The BFH Health Technologies Center leads in applied medical research in Biel, focusing on rapid product market entry through resource synergy and interdisciplinary projects.

Innovation Booster Silver Aging

SIPBB, thanks to SHTC is a part of the Executive Steering Committee of the Innovation Booster Silver Aging that encourages ambitious innovations and funds pilot projects to promote the well-being and healthy aging of seniors.
